Stringer Building Services is a small-personalised company that operates out of Palm Beach on the Southern Gold Coast.


Mat Stringer, builder, owner, and director has been in the building industry for 20+ years.  He started as an apprentice carpenter, went on to operate as a small self-employed carpentry contractor before obtaining his builders license.

Stringer Building Services is a company with a focus on ‘Quality Homes with an Individual Touch’.  Being a ‘hands on’ builder means Mat can make provisions for on site analysis and direction.  This can then be implemented on a daily basis to provide the client with up-to-date feedback.   When you ring to speak to the builder it is Mat Stringer, the builder, who will answer your call.

Included in our recent string of accomplishments are 'The Spice Shack' a funky 2 story extension in Palm Beach, designed by Coastarc and landscape architect Gerard Mccormick, (pictures to come) and 'Beachfront Bliss' a 2 story extension/renovation on Jefferson Lane, designed by Shane Denman (gallery pictures).

Stringer Building Services' last major works were 'The Entertainer' a renovation in Palm Beach consisting of a new kitchen, living and outdoor pool pavilion (gallery pictures), 'Kirra Beachscape' a contemporary 5th floor apartment renovation along Kirra beach front which was designed by the owner, and 'Deck Tales' a 2 story covered kwilla deck with hardwood posts in Tallai.  SBS is currently finishing 'Seamless 50's' an extension in central Palm Beach, which has added one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen/living area and covered deck.

 
To date Mat has helped to design and construct a number of quality projects on the Gold Coast and in Northern New South Wales.  Stringer Building Services’ scope of work includes, new homes, extensions, renovations, alterations and medium commercial works.
